I’m thinking of opening up a sports bar with a fine dining menu selection. I’ve seen very limited sports bar like that and I’m thinking about doing it myself. It’s going to have the whole sports bar setting (big plasma tv’s, chicken wings, a big bar)

That’s an oxymoron!
opening a restaurant is hard enough without doing it with stupid ideas
It probably won’t work. Try casual dining instead. People who go to sports bars don’t want fine dining, they want an atmosphere like they are at their friends house or at home. They want to drink, smoke, be loud, and not remember what they did the next day. Not exactly fine dining material.
odd = don’t think it will fly as it appeals to very separate markets.
i just cannot imagine a room full of american men shouting at a football game and puffing on cigarettes asking for caviar and sushi.
Great idea! Next I want you to invent Chocolate ice cream that tastes like Vanilla… Duh…?
I think it’s a great idea, I don’t know if you already have any in your home town but we do and it’s a very cool place to go to. Here in my hometown they are called Trophy’s. I’ve been to it a few times, and they have a whole lot more to offer than just chicken wings, you should look up their menu, it’s full of very good fine food, and there is never a shortage of big screen tv’s all around. I enjoy the food while my husband enjoys the game. I think you have a good chance at making this happen, just do some research and take ideas from already popular sports bars. Good luck!!
