Depending on where you go to college you may be able to major in Sports Medicine itself. If you are not currently enrolled in a University I would make sure that you go to one that gives you that option. For example my best friend is studying sports medicine and physical therapy at Ithaca College in Ithaca New York. other school with this option include Boston University, Chestnut Hill University, Georgetown University, Hofstra University, Marist College, and many more
You get your undergrad, then go to a school that has a great sports medicine specialty medical school.
